INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORSPlease use the sample abstract to the right as an example in preparing your abstract submission. The title of the abstract should be clear and concise. The abstract should contain an introduction/background, methods, results, and conclusions of your study. Abstracts not meeting these criteria will be rejected. PLEASE DO NOT IDENTIFY YOUR INSTITUTION OR CITY IN EITHER THE TEXT OR TITLE OF YOUR ABSTRACT. DOING SO WILL DISQUALIFY YOUR ABSTRACT FROM SCORING. Abstracts must be typed in English. Use abbreviations only for common terms; otherwise, please define abbreviations within the abstract text. Please avoid the use of special symbols. The body of the abstract must not exceed 400 words (300 words if a figure or table is included). A word counter appears to the left of the abstract submission form. Please designate a contact author and email address to whom further correspondence should be directed. Authors may choose to submit their abstract for oral presentation, poster presentation, or both. The ultimate decision regarding acceptance and type of presentation will reside with the WCACS Organizing Committee. Each abstract submitted will be reviewed and scored by the Organising Committee. The corresponding author of each abstract will be notified of the Committee's decision via return email. |
