Intra-abdominal hypertension (IAH) and abdominal compartment syndrome (ACS) represent significant clinical challenges for any physician or healthcare provider. While the majority of questions may be answered on the Email List or on the Discussion Forum, there will always be questions that you wish you could pose to "the experts". The WSACS Help Desk, staffed by the members of the WSACS Executive Committee, is available to answer these complex and challenging questions.
The clinical comments and suggestions of the WSACS Help Desk are based upon the best available medical literature and clinical expertise at that time. They should not be considered to be accepted protocol or policy, nor are intended to replace clinical judgment or dictate care of individual patients.
